ROMANESQUE BRIDGE

A true icon of the locality, it appears to have been built to facilitate the passage of pilgrims in the 11th century. It is 110m long with 7 semi-circular arches, one of which is underground.

Originally completed by three towers, it served as a customs house for goods crossing and as protection for the villa. It is worth contemplating on a clear day with calm waters, around noon, from the modern bridge the Arga River acts as a mirror.
